About Jenn Almeida, MSW, LICSW, LADC-1

Over the last 15 years, I have worked in schools, hospitals, addiction treatment centers, and correctional settings. These experiences have shaped how I understand people and the many ways we cope, adapt, and grow. My background allows me to meet clients where they are and offer support that feels personal, practical, and grounded.

In our work together, you can expect me to be present, genuine, and consistent. My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe humor has a place in healing because it helps us breathe, connect, and meet ourselves with a little more grace.

At the heart of my work is a strengths-based and empowerment focus. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling seen, understood, and equipped with skills you can use in your daily life. Together we will create space for you to reconnect with your values, rebuild confidence, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and authentically your own.
