Guided Support Groups
Guided Support Groups
Healing doesn’t only happen in one-on-one sessions. Sometimes growth expands when people come together to slow down, share honestly, and learn practical tools side by side.
Wild Root Therapy is introducing small, online Saturday support circles designed for adults navigating overwhelm, burnout, life transitions, and emotional fatigue. These structured experiences blend grounding practices, guided discussion, and real-life regulation skills in a space that feels steady, human, and supportive.
This is not traditional group therapy and it’s not just a place to vent. Each group is thoughtfully facilitated by licensed clinicians and grounded in evidence-based practices while still leaving room for authentic connection.
Our Approach
Between us, we’ve facilitated hundreds of clinical and support groups across hospitals, treatment centers, and outpatient programs throughout Massachusetts. Our experience spans trauma recovery, emotional regulation, relapse prevention, mindfulness, communication, boundaries, and rebuilding self-trust.
Every circle combines clinical skill with lived understanding. Our goal is to create a space that feels structured yet human. A place where participants can learn, reflect, and experience meaningful connection without feeling exposed or overwhelmed.
At Wild Root Therapy, our circles are:
• Structured yet conversational
• Rooted in evidence and real experience
• Grounded in safety, pacing, and respect
The Joyful Journey Support Group
Community and practices for finding joy in real, everyday life.
The Joyful Journey Circle is a 6-week facilitated support circle for people who want to reconnect with joy, not the loud highlight-reel kind, but the steady kind that lives in ordinary moments.
This is a member-guided experience grounded in shared reflection and supported by the oversight of a licensed clinical therapist. You’ll find thoughtful structure, emotional safety, and practical tools alongside genuine community.
This isn’t about toxic positivity or forcing happiness.
It’s about learning how to notice, allow, and grow joy even during busy schedules, uncertainty, and real life.
The Joyful Journey begins Saturday April 4, 2026. -Sign up today as space is limited!
Why Guided Support Groups Work
Real change doesn’t always happen in isolation. Research shows that structured support groups can be just as powerful as individual therapy for many people navigating stress, burnout, and life transitions.
• Over 75% of participants in facilitated support groups report meaningful improvement in emotional well-being and coping skills, according to research reviewed by the American Psychological Association.
• Studies show guided group experiences can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by up to 40–50%, especially when practical skills are practiced between sessions.
• Participants consistently report feeling less alone, more grounded, and more confident applying tools alongside others who truly understand what they’re carrying.
But the real power isn’t just in the numbers.
It’s in the moment someone realizes they don’t have to hold everything by themselves anymore.
Our Guided Support Groups combine thoughtful structure, real conversation, and grounded practices that help you slow down, reconnect, and move forward with steadiness.
